AI 110 · Module 6 · Interactive tools

Five widgets for data privacy & security.

Each exercise from Module 6 lives as its own embeddable HTML file. Covers the boundary test, sorting information by sensitivity, matching the right tool to the data, the three security risks, and a graded share-or-not check.

The tools

One file per exercise.

Each tool is a single self-contained HTML file. Host it, then drop the URL into an Articulate Rise Embed block (or any LMS that accepts an iframe). Click Open to preview a tool the way a student will see it.

The Boundary Test

Eight things a student might paste into an AI tool. For each, apply one gut check — would you share this with an outside person or public website? — then decide safe to share or keep it out, with a per-item reason.

Exercise · Classify the information

Sort by Sensitivity

Eight examples, five sensitivity categories — public, personal, classroom/peer, workplace/research, and security-sensitive. Students sort each one and the responsible-sharing guidance for that category appears on the call.

Tool · Right data, right tool

Match Tool to Data

Choose what you want to share and the tool you would use — free chatbot, AI web tool, university-approved, employer-internal, or on-device — and the verdict updates: usually OK, proceed with care, or don’t share, with the reasoning and the six tool-vetting questions.

Reference card · Security risks

Spot the Manipulation

A flip-card reference for the three AI-era security risks — phishing and social engineering, impersonation and synthetic media, and prompt injection in connected tools. Each card flips to what it looks like, how to reduce it, and the tell.

Should I Share This With AI?

Eight everyday moments. Decide whether each is usually fine, allowed only with authorization and an approved tool, or off-limits. Locked answers with immediate feedback, a sticky scorecard with the three-verdict legend, and a tuned closing message.

Embedding in Rise

Recommended embed heights: tools 01–04720px · tool 05 (quiz) → 1400px. See the Module 2 tools index for the full embed walkthrough.
